Volunteer Positions

Volunteers are a vital part of the Market – with more than 1,500 volunteers working over 24,000 collective hours! Volunteers meet and work closely with artists and folk art enthusiasts from every corner of the globe.  Our volunteers can choose from a broad range of possible jobs, including decorating the site, assisting individual artists, greeting visitors, helping with sales, and many others. Please read each volunteer job description and assess which position matches your skills and interests best.

Register as a Volunteer

Please fill out the registration form if you are interested in joining our team this July. Once you have registered, the volunteer leader of your area will contact you to schedule your shift(s). Logistical information about volunteering at the Market (training, parking, what to bring, t-shirts, etc.) will become available in June.

If you are traveling from out of town, please go ahead and make your travel arrangements now. We will schedule your volunteer shift(s) based on your availability while in Santa Fe.
