In partnership with the Museum of International Folk Art, IFAM is offering a workshop where attendees will be able to make their own Uchiwa, or traditional Japanese fan. Uchiwas were originally crafted from leaves and animal hair, today they are typically made from bamboo and paper and used to cool off.
