When you sponsor a first-time artist to the Market, you create a bond between you and the artist you support and provide them with a life-changing experience to access a global market.
With your help, the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market will be able to provide direct financial support for the 28 first-time artists featured here who would not be able to attend the Market otherwise.
During the past two Markets, artists have earned on average $14,000-$16,000 per booth. As a result of earnings at the Market, artists have reported that they have been able to purchase land, build new studios, run health clinics, hire teachers and start schools, pay for school fees and books, and buy farm animals that bring additional wealth.
