Embroidery
A small workshop of Maya women in the Yucatan creates embroidered cotton and linen tablecloths, napkins, bags and blouses. The work is delicate and requires counting small threads and using tiny cross stitches. The women focus on traditional Maya designs. The fabrics are used both in daily life and for special occasions.
