When is the Market?
The Market is held annually during the 2nd full weekend of July. In 2010, the Market will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 10 - 11.
Where can I buy tickets?
(2009) All tickets go on sale May 1. Tickets for the Friday evening Market Opening Party, Saturday Early Bird, and Saturday and Sunday tickets can be purchased through our website.
Tickets purchased online at least 2 weeks before the Market will be mailed to the address you provide. Any online tickets purchased after that time will be available for pick up at the Market Will Call during market weekend.
Tickets are also available in Santa Fe at all Museum of Mew Mexico Foundation Shops, i.e. Museum of International Folk Art, Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, the Palace of the Governors and the New Mexico Museum of Art. Tickets are also available at all Los Alamos National Bank branches, and at La Tiendita, the museum store at the National Hispanic Cultural Center located at 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque.
Will there be a ticket will call at the market during the event weekend?
Yes. The will call window will be located at the admissions tent just outside the entrance to the Market.
How do I get to the Market?

2) South Capitol Area Parking
Park in the lots around the Montoya, Runnels and Simms Buildings of the South Capitol Complex as well as the surrounding the Department of Transportation buildings. These lots are located in the block between St. Francis Drive, Cordova Road, Cerrillos Road, and Alta Vista Street. There is also additional overlfow parkign at the Lujan Building on the south side of Alta Vista.

Is there parking at Museum Hill where the Market is held?
No. There is no parking available for the public (except for a very limited number of parking spaces for people with official handicap placards only) on Museum Hill where the Market takes place during the weekend. Please note that all of the City of Santa Fe buses are ADA complaint and we strongly encourage you to park in either of the public lots to avoid delays getting to the Market. In addition, there are several road closures in the immediate area on Old Santa Fe Trail, Camino Lejo, Camino Pinones, and Camino Corrales. Please park at the free parking lots at the either the PERA lots and take the bus from the Lamy Building on Don Gaspar at the corner of Paseo de Peralta or park at the South Capitol Complex/Department of Transportation lots and take the bus from the bus platform at the South Capitol Rail Runner Station.
Are the Market, its parking and shuttles handicapped accessible?
Yes. There are some handicapped designated parking places near the Lamy Building where the buses will both pick up and returnto the PERA lot as well as near the rail road tracks across form teh bus platform at teh new South Capitol Rail Runner Station lot. In addition, all buses are handicapped accessible and are equipped with wheelchair lifts. At the Market site every effort had been made to make your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible. All three areas of the Market site as well as the museums are handicapped accessible. An elevator is provided between the lower and upper levels of the Market. The food area is accessible as well, though there is a small incline that you must travel up and down to get to the dining area. If you find this too difficult to navigate there is also dining available at the Museum Hill Café on the upper level of the Market.
Wheelchairs are not provided by the Market so please bring one if you think you will need it. Inside the museums however there are wheelchairs available for your use while inside the museums only. They may not be taken outside onto Milner Plaza where the Market takes place.
Is there food available at the Market?
Yes. There is an International Food Bazaar at the Market. Though the vendors may change from year to year, you can expect international foods, often organic and fair trade, available from local vendors including Cameroonian, Asian, and Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican and traditional American hotdogs. The Museum Hill Café is also open during the Market.
May I bring my pet to the Market?
No. Pets are not allowed on Milner Plaza by state ordinance. Assistance dogs are allowed.
Are there any events for children?
The Market itself is a wonderfully exciting event for children. The countless new sites and sounds experienced at the market from the international music and dance performers to folk artists and art from over 40 countries will surely thrill people of all ages. For the very young it may be their first introduction to understanding the larger global community. In addition there a workshops and demonstrations held each day
