Introduction to the 2010 Market Application/NOTE: THE DEADLINE - OCTOBER 1 - HAS PASSED.

Key Dates for Market Participants

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLYING TO THE 2010 MARKET HAS PASSED:  both the 2010 Market Application and, if eligible, the Financial Assistance Application had to be postmarked no later than October 1, 2009.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance by December 16, 2009 by email.

Dates of the 2010 Market:  July 10 and 11.

How to Apply/NOTE: THE DEADLINE - OCTOBER 1 - HAS PASSED.

There is no application fee.

The preferred method of application is to fill out Part 1 online, using the form here - or using the link “Apply Here for the 2010 Market” located on the sidebar. This fillable form automatically enters the sections that provide Contact Information - Part 1/Sections A, B and C of the 2010 Market Application - into the Market’s database. If you fill out Part 1 online, then you’ll be taken to a page on this site to download Parts 2, 3 and 4 as a PDF that you can fill out electronically on your computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader. It can then be saved, printed, and mailed to us with the photographs and other materials required to complete your application.

The Financial Assistance Application is in Word format and can either be filled out electronically, saved and printed, or printed and filled out by hand, and mailed to us with your 2010 Market Application. Applications cannot be emailed or faxed.

The Market Application must be provided for each individual artist, cooperative, individual sponsor, non-profit organization or business. If an artist, cooperative, individual sponsor, non-profit organization or business would like to bring more than one type of medium (for example, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, etc.) to the Market, a separate application must be provided for each type of medium.

Three copies of each Market Application must be mailed to the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market. If applying for financial assistance, only one copy of the Financial Assistance Application must be included with the Market Application.
