What We Do
The Santa Fe International Folk Art Market is the largest international folk art market in the world, and our success led to Santa Fe’s designation as a UNESCO City of Folk Art.
The Market hosts an annual festive, two-day event on Museum Hill in Santa Fe, New Mexico adjoining our renowned partner, the Museum of International Folk Art.

Ricardo Linares
MexicoIn Mexico, one name and one family is associated with the public display of “cartonería” arts—Linares.
Papier-mâché figures are an integral part of popular street art and fiesta culture, accessible to all Mexicans. From large “Judas” figures used in Holy Week ceremonies, Day of the Dead “calacas” or skeletons, used on altars, to the fantastical creatures call “alebrijes” invented by “Papa” Pedro—the figures breathe color and life into simple paper, glue, and reed.

Free Parking and Shuttles to the 2008 Market
Due to increased crowds in 2007, we will be doubling the number of free shuttles to the Market in 2008. Parking will be located in the state parking lots surrounding the Lamy and PERA Buildings near the State Capitol Building, AKA the Round House.
