Tatiana represents the native Khanty community association, Yaoun Yakh. The organization was created to defend the traditional milieu of the native minority Khanty people, and to preserve and develop their traditional culture, economy and way of life. Members of Yaoun Yakh make a variety of traditional arts that continue to be used by Khanty families, including lidded baskets, decorated fur purses, Khanti boots, three-dimensional puzzles, dolls, and birchbark baskets.

The Santa Fe International Folk Art Market, a non-profit organization, produces the largest international folk art market in the world, and our success led to Santa Fe’s designation as a UNESCO City of Folk Art.
