Fu Ma Ding is a master weaver from a Meifu Li dialect area in the Xi Fang village in the Hainan Province.
She was taught to weave on a hand loom by her mother. Fu Ma Ding makes traditional, multicolored Li clothing and textiles from cotton and hemp fibers.
