Ceramics have been produced in Boleslawiec since the mid 17th century.  Today these are incorporated into unique (signed) limited edition pieces produced by Ceramika Artystyczna cooperative. In the last 10 years the designs of Boleslawiec pottery have changed considerably. In the past the designs were German influenced but today they are distinctly Polish designs and taken from numerous cultural floral and geometric embroidery designs from all over Poland.
